Description
Dwyer BDPA-08-2-N is an adjustable differential pressure alarm that operates in a temperature range of -4 to 185°F (-20 to 85°C) and can be powered by a 16 to 30 VDC, 18 to 30 VAC, or 3.6 V LS14250 lithium metal battery. With an enclosure rating of IP21 and electrical connections via screw terminals or optional 1/2″ NPT, it is suitable for air and noncombustible gases. The SPDT switch type and ±15% FS repeatability ensure reliable performance, and the battery acts as a backup if power is lost. It features a diaphragm made of silicone, a switch body made of PA 6.6 and POM, and a polystyrene cover. With a maximum operating pressure of 40″ w.c. (10 kPa), a process connection of 5/16″ (7.94 mm) outside diameter tubing, and 1/4″ (6.0 mm) inside diameter tubing, this alarm provides accurate and precise readings. The alarm is indicated through a red LED and audible alarm, with an alarm level of approximately 90 db at 4″ (10 cm). The alarm can be acknowledged by a button press. The battery has a life of approximately 1.5 years with a 3.6 V/1.2 Ah capacity.
